All Christians are called to give themselves in service to others.
Countless areas in the life of the Church are enhanced by the work of
volunteers. Members of the congregation pose a wealth of talent and
enthusiasm. Opportunities exist for any time commitment, one-time
project, regular, weekly, monthly, or seasonal. Jobs are available and
are in need of YOU! Please contact the church office for more
information on Mission projects.
Mission Programs at TBRC
- Soup Kitchen: Serving lunch in Somerville whenever there is a 5th
Wednesday in month.
- Mission Publicity and Mission Trips: A mission trip can be a
response to a disaster or a scheduled trip to help the needy.
- Highway Clean Up: Cleaning the 2 miles along Route 202, 4 times a
year.
- Interfaith Hospitality Network: Preparing and serving dinner and
overnight coverage for the homeless of Hunterdon at the Readington
Reformed Church 4-5 times a year.
- Flemington Food Pantry: Monthly food collection.
- White Gift: Providing Christmas gifts to "adopted"
individuals who are less fortunate.
- Habitat for Humanity: Building homes for the needy.
- Crop Walk: October walk-a-thon to stomp out hunger.
- Amazing Grace - Seasonal Outreach: Clothing Drives, Health/School
kits, scheduled trips to Grace Reformed Church in Newark, NJ, Pedals
for Progress, etc.
Numerous benevolences are supported through your generous gifts. TBRC
tithe's by giving 10% of our annual budget to help in our Outreach
locally, nationally, and internationally. In addition, Communion
offerings are designated for specific causes throughout the year. THANK
