Special Fellowship on Sunday, October 4th – World Communion Sunday
Please be sure to come to worship on October 4th for World Communion Sunday! Pastor Ryan
will be taking part in worship and there will be a special Fellowship Hour afterwards. In honor
of World Communion Sunday, we’ll have food from all over!! You won’t want to miss it!! If
you’re able, bring a dish to share! Desserts will be provided by the Worship Committee!!
Nursery Volunteers Needed!
We need your help! We’ve been blessed to need nursery care over the last few years...and we are looking for folks to pick up even one Sunday. If you can serve, contact Pastor Dawn, or write your name on the sig sheet. Thank you for your help!
Flemington Food Pantry Donations
Donations get low at the local food pantries in the summer. If you are able, please bring any non-perishable food to the church and place in the bin right inside the side door. Any questions? call Pastor Dawn.
Feeding Flemington Lunch Program: June 3 – Oct.
The Feeding Flemington Lunch Program has been busy!!!! Each week we find that a few more families and seniors are showing up needing food assistance. Once again, we will be increasing the amount of sandwiches we make. We’ll be up to 88 PB&J!!! Plus turkey & cheese or ham & cheese. The appreciation we feel from these folks is beyond measure. College Care Packages!
On Sunday, October 18th, during Sunday School time, we will be preparing college care packages for the church’s kids who are off at school, and we need your help in terms of supplies. Here are some examples: candy, school supplies, tea bags, microwavable items, and all sorts of other treats. The collection bin has been placed by the office. All supplies need to be dropped off at the church by Sunday morning, the 18th of October.
In addition, if you are the parent of a college student, please email their current school address to S. Newborn.
Soul Soup is Coming Back – Starting November 8th!
And we need SOUP MAKERS!
Soul Soup is about so much more than a warm bowl of soup. We will always feed those in need,
but the heart of Soul Soup is also about spreading kindness throughout our community. Each month, we encourage you to think of someone who could use a little extra kindness. ❤️

👵 Drop some off to someone who lives alone
🤗 Think of a friend who's having a tough week
🥣 And don't forget to take some home for yourself! Sometimes something as simple as showing up with a container of homemade soup can remind someone that they're thought of and cared about.

New Bible Study, ‘Mark: 40 Days Through the Book’, Began Tuesday, September 22 at 11a
Mark's gospel has an urgency to it that's hard to ignore. It's as if he is breathless, trying to get the information out as quickly as he can. A few decades have passed since Jesus' ministry, and with persecution intensifying, some believers were tempted to compromise or simply give up on being a follower of the Messiah.
